There are days, very rare, when we need a break from crochet. Very rare : )). And other techniques got my attention and wait online to be experimented. So 2 days ago, my glass cabochons arrived, and models had to be mixed. Now I want more of these, in all the colours and models, and different leghths and more, just more : )). Even though it’s not a new tecqnique, there is so much space for new and original models. The model in this photo it’s a limited option, maybe one af a kind.

It’s clear, this summer is a summer of colour, at least looking in the shop’s windows. Everything goes, from marine blue and white to electric pink and green! So I’ll blend just right in with a rainbow colour palette for my crochet earrings. This colour explosion in fashion is contagious : )).

More crochet earrings to come, I can promise you that, and there will be no limit for the colors, anything goes! Even fluorescent ones….which I’m not a fan of (I do remeber some electric pink stratch pants from when I was 13 or so, and a very pink winter jacket…now it’s black, khaki, green, burgundy and blue. I do not know what happened). Moving on, so: bigger earrings, all the colours of the rainbow, all in crochet, with a very fine sinthetic thread, and brass and copper antique patina findings. And probably some necklaces and assorted bracelets to follow.

Yes! Summer, sun, beach and fun. Well, I’m only miles away from any sea, but there is the pool, right ?! I mean fashion goes to the pool if the beach is not available. I guess the fact I just updated my colour palette is perfect, I have a big demand for this cute little crochet button earrings for summer, all colours, as many as I can make, and as I ordered new findings, of course in antique brass and copper, we’ll just go crazy with the possibilities!
The other day, sombody tryed to bring rain on my parade by saying that all this handmade jewelry trend is passing away….well I cand say you this: I’ll take it as a challenge to create more beautiful earrings, or “stuff” as this person put it, and to go the extra mile in everithing I do!

I guess I’m in the mood for spring. Lately for my earrings I only choose springy colours. And the trees are all in bloom, you should hear the buzzing of the bees in my neighbour’s cherry tree : )), the sun is warm, the tulips…the flowery parfume in the air, ok, that’s it, even if I don’t feel that great, I’m going out, maybe I’ll find some inspiration for some new earrings, whish me luck!

Of course I love beeing featured, I mean Etsy has literally millions of items, in all crafts, and I don’t think crochet is on the top 3 search words : )). So, to be noticed it’s always good. At times I do feel lost in all the new creations that appear daily, but let’s not despair, only work harder. Now I have made an appearance on Pinterest too : )), and yes, it is addictive, I must be carreful about that. I got especially lost on modern and contemporary jewelry Boards, I mean the designers are just great and full of imagination, and on fiber art. It just blows my mind away. I can’t go near the DIY, craft and crochet boards, because instantly 3 new projects are born every time I say oohh : )). I’ll wait you to join me there, I do have a few pretty Boards that await visitors, and my Etsy Shop has new earrings, stop and have a look.
For this Etsy Treasury I thank Bijoux Elte, from Paris, France. It’s just perfect, simple, vibrant and fresh, white flowers and red earrings. No I want to make one, just as great. Let’s see what inspires us today.
